We enable entrepreneurs and key stakeholders to cooperate and create impactful solutions that solve social challenges.

Changemakers Lab (CML) is a social innovation lab, which brings together private and public actors, civil society, social (tech entrepreneurs and citizens to co-create and test public policies and tech-driven solutions for inclusive and sustainable local economic development across Europe. 1. Acceleration Programs We have run 3 accelerators programs, 2 of which were International through our Social Economy Global Impact Tech Accelerator (SEGITA) Program—> www.SEGITA.org We partnered with the Techstars Startup Weekend Women in Dublin Team and the Future of Impact Summit for our second program, whilst we partnered with two Universities for our first two programs. We also held a Techstars Startup Weekend hackathon with locals and refugees on Lesvos in September 2016 as per the article below: https://www.lesvospost.com/2016/09/startup-weekend-lesvos-7-9-2016.html 2.1 Digital Skills – Refugee Code Week We ran a digital skills training program in partnership with SAP and the Univeristy of the Aegean on Lesvos, with over 400 locals, asylum seekers and refugees participating in our program. 2.2 Design thinking workshop for digital skills / education We co-organised a design thinking workshop for digital education, with various NGOs and refugees on Lesvos, with an international expert. This was referenced in a Forbes article: “Finding Refuge In Learning? The Emergent Role Of Mobile Learning For Refugees On Lesvos” 3. UN Policy Guide Facilitated Policy Area 4 for the Inter Agency (IOM / UNHCR / UNCTAD) Policy Guide on Entrepreneurship for Migrants and Refugees at the UN in Geneva. Changemakers Lab is also showcased as case study no 21 on page 139: https://unctad.org/system/files/official-document/diae2018d2_en.pdf 4. Changemakers Summit We have run 4 International summits on Lesvos on Europe Day, 9 May, since 2016, with the aim of bringing together diverse stakeholders that can together inspire the future of Europe. 5. Refugee Entrepreneurships Network We are facilitating international discussions to hold the Refugee Entrepreneurship Network Summit in Izmir, Turkey for the first time! We have coordinated discussions with several municipalities and other stakeholders to realise this project, which will take place in October 2023. 6. Articles
