BSD is an Italian design firm active since 1990 whose founders are among the top experts in Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction and Interaction Design. BSD works on a tripartite model of User-Centered Design based on Analysis, Design, and Training 1. Analysis: Through field surveys and the analysis of collected data, BSD develops models of the activities, which include actors, tools and interactions. With the aim to interpret the complexity of psychosocial, cultural, contextual and emotional factors of the user experience, and to define the required knowledge base for planning the design. 2. Design: BSD provides consulting services and information to their customers planning and developing interventions regarding organizational development on aspects such as technological innovation, security and protection, design interaction, human-machine interfaces, user research and services. 3. Training: BSD works with its customers and partners providing advice and information services on their organizational development. By focusing on key aspects such as organization, technology and service innovation, including people well-being and development, safety and protection, performance and effectiveness. In order to be able to analyse, design, experiment, deploy and operate technology and service innovation, BSD multidisciplinary team owns and integrate expertises such as: Business Analysis, Work And Organization,Psychology, Human Factors, Cognitive Ergonomics, Human-Machine Interaction, Industrial Design, Interaction Design, Service Design, Visual Design, Data Visualization, and Customer Service Design.
